These products are primarily used in the semiconductor, bio-pharmaceutical, aerospace and defense, government research laboratories, and other industries.
In addition to components and systems, HIS also provides contract manufacturing and fabrication services for stainless steel subsystems, gas delivery systems and other complementary components/products.

Frank is a Partner at LVL3 and an experienced CEO and CFO of mid-market businesses in the food & beverage, high-tech, and semiconductor industries. He has consulted with over a dozen businesses in the mid-market and has held several direct positions in the public and private sectors ranging from Senior Analyst to Chief Executive Officer. Frank has experience in businesses with revenues ranging from sub-$1 million to over $1 billion annually. His areas of expertise include business strategy, buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, capital planning, and organization design and leadership. Frank received his MBA from the University of Oregon and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance, cum laude, from Portland State University.
As President and Chief Innovation Officer, Romeo brings more than 25 years of experience in product innovation, including his most recent role as Director of Integrated Systems in the Semiconductor Division at Edwards Vacuum. Romeo earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point and earned his Master of Science in Engineering Management from St. Martin’s College.
Gianotti joined HIS in July, 1999 and recently celebrated his 20th year with the company as Director of Business Development. During his tenure as Sales and Accounts Manager, he has overseen all aspects of client relations and sales growth making him an important asset to the HIS team. Gianotti’s attention to fine detail and customer service ensures that all of your client needs will be met according to your high level of expectations. Gianotti earned his Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University.
Saack is the Director of Operations at HIS. He earned his degree from the University of Washington, and commissioned into the United States Army through their ROTC program. His experience as an officer in the Army gives him a critical thinking skill set, and the leadership background to guide the organization’s day to day activities. Since his arrival in February of 2017, Saack has used a process-based approach to drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization.
As Director of Engineering, Schwab offers more than 20 years of experience in product development and design. Schwab’s goal with HIS is to continue growing our world-class design department. Prior to joining HIS, Schwab was the Program Manager of Integrated Systems in the Semiconductor Division at Edwards Vacuum. He earned his Associate of Science in Manufacturing Robotics Engineering at Erie Community College and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Josh Ratchford recently joined HIS Innovations Group as the Director of Strategic Accounts and is responsible for driving new opportunities for the Innovation Team. Dr. Ratchford previously worked as a manager in the Applications Team at Edwards Vacuum where he was responsible for supporting the semiconductor industry’s latest process technologies at fabs throughout the world. Prior, Dr. Ratchford held positions with the Electrochemistry Branch of the US Army Research Lab as a National Research Council Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences and with the Department Chemical Engineering at Waseda University as a JSPS Fellow. Dr. Ratchford earned his PhD in Chemistry at Stanford University where he performed research at Stanford Nano Fabrications Facility and Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource.
As Controller, Corbitt’s skill set and experience is a valuable asset to HIS. His background is in financial operations for expanding and organizing complex businesses internationally. Corbitt has consistently incorporated the operating team in financial decisions allowing for improved financial results across all departments. Corbitt’s past work experience includes Radisson Hotels where he held the position as the Assistant Regional Controller. His portfolio expands with The Resort at Squaw Creek, The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club, and Shore Lodge Whitetail. Corbitt earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lyndon State College.
